...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM CDT THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph
expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Illinois and
northwest Indiana.
* WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There will be a few hour period overnight
where the winds will combine with falling snow and may reduce
visibilities to one half to one quarter mile for some areas.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles on west to east roads. Use extra caution.
