Northwest winds in excess of 45 mph are expected to develop
Wednesday afternoon, highest west of the Chicago metro and near
the lakeshore in northwest Indiana. The combination of large
waves and strong winds on Lake Michigan may also lead to instances
of lakeshore flooding mainly east of Gary, IN.
