Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Scattered thunderstorms will move across the area through mid
morning. The strongest storms will produce nickel size hail and
heavy rain which may lead to ponding water in low lying and poor
drainage areas.
The combination of low relative humidity and southwest winds
gusting to 40 mph will lead to an elevated fire danger this
afternoon, mainly for areas south of Interstate 80.

Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...
There is a chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon with a
better chance for thunderstorms Saturday night. Some of these
storms may produce nickel size hail and brief heavy rain.
Severe thunderstorms are possible across the entire area on
Sunday. All modes of severe weather are possible, including large
hail, damage winds and tornadoes. Heavy rain may also lead to
localized flooding.
