DISCUSSION...
Unseasonably warm and dry conditions along with somewhat gusty
southwest winds will result in a heightened grass fire danger
this afternoon, mainly over Illinois.

Friday night...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 2 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Saturday...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
DISCUSSION...
A very powerful early storm system will affect the area Friday
night into Saturday. First, bringing the potential for some
strong to severe storms to portions of the region Friday night.
Then, late Friday night into Saturday very strong non-
thunderstorm winds are likely.
