DISCUSSION...
The combination of gusty southerly winds and afternoon humidities
generally between 30 and 35 percent will lead to an elevated risk
for fire spread near and south of the I-80 corridor through early
evening, especially west and south of the Chicago metro area.

DISCUSSION...
Showers and scattered thunderstorms will move across the area on Wednesday.
Some thunderstorms during the afternoon to early evening maybe
strong to severe. Damaging winds would be the main hazard from
severe storms, though here is some risk for hail or even an
isolated tornado. Rain will transition to wet snow Wednesday night
and continue into early Thursday morning.
