DISCUSSION...
Strong southwesterly winds will continue through the early to mid
afternoon, with gusts up to 45 to 50 mph. The strong winds may
also lead to an elevated risk for fire spread.
Another wave of precipitation is expected to develop over most of
the area tonight. While it will begin as rain, the rain may
change over to a period of accumulating wet snow across parts of
northern IL late tonight into Sunday morning.
