DISCUSSION...
There is an increased threat for grass and brush fire spread away
from the lake this afternoon.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Significant Fire Weather Risk.
Friday night...
Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 3 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...
Strong southerly winds are likely Friday afternoon and evening
with gusts of 40 to 50 mph expected. The combination of these
strong winds and dry conditions will lead to a significant fire
weather threat during the afternoon. Any fires that develop may
quickly become difficult to contain.
Then, a fast moving line of showers and thunderstorms is expected
to sweep across much of the outlook area Friday night. Some of
the thunderstorms could become severe. Any storms that do become
severe will primarily pose a risk for damaging wind gusts over 60
mph. A few tornadoes can't be ruled out.
Finally, another period of powerful non-thunderstorm winds is
expected beginning Saturday morning and continuing into the early
afternoon when damaging wind gusts to around 60 mph are possible
at times.
