Elevated Fire Weather Risk south of I-80.
DISCUSSION...
Winds will gust up to 40 to 45 mph from the southwest today. A
slightly elevated threat for grass and brush fire spread is
possible well south of I-80 where precipitation has been more
limited over the past days.
A few non-severe thunderstorms are possible this evening, roughly
southwest of a Pecatonica to St. Anne line.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
