This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northeast Illinois and northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk through mid afternoon.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are lingering over the area,
not expected to move to the east until the mid afternoon.

The combination of low relative humidity and southwest winds
gusting to 40 mph will lead to an elevated fire danger this
afternoon, mainly for areas south of Interstate 80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 1 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Sunday...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Level 3 of 5 Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Flooding Risk.

DISCUSSION...

There is a chance of thunderstorms Saturday afternoon with a
better chance for thunderstorms Saturday night. Some of these
storms may produce nickel size hail and brief heavy rain.

Severe thunderstorms are possible across the entire area on
Sunday. All modes of severe weather are possible, including large
hail, damage winds and tornadoes. Heavy rain may also lead to
localized flooding.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
