This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Flooding Risk north of I-80
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms will increase in coverage later this
evening into overnight, especially north of I-80. Thunderstorms
will be capable of producing torrential rainfall, which could
result in flash flooding, especially for those locations that
saw heavy rainfall on Sunday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk south of I-80.
High Swim Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
High Swim Risk.
Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Showers and some thunderstorms are likely on Monday. Heavy
rainfall again will be likely with any storms. There also could
be a few gusty storms mainly along and south of I-80 in the
afternoon.

Building waves along Lake Michigan beaches will result in a
high rip current risk and dangerous swimming conditions from
Monday afternoon through midday Tuesday.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
