DISCUSSION...
Heat indices will remain in the upper 90s to a little over 105
degrees through early evening, with highest values in north
central Illinois.
There is a chance of thunderstorms overnight, mainly north of
I-88 and I-290. Severe weather is not anticipated, though locally
heavy rainfall may occur.

DISCUSSION:
Heat indices Sunday may exceed 100 degrees again, mainly south of
I-80.
Periodic bouts of thunderstorms are expected through Monday. These
may start as early as Sunday morning across northern Illinois
north of I_80, and become more likely area wide Sunday night into
Monday. Some of thunderstorms will likely produce torrential
downpours with some threat of localized flash flooding, mainly
Sunday night and Monday.
