This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are possible mainly west of Chicago this
morning, and again this afternoon into early this evening mainly
southeast of a Peru Illinois to Chicago line. While some of these
storms could produce isolated wind gusts to 40 mph and heavy
downpours, no organized severe weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

High Swim Risk.
Sunday through Tuesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Breezy north winds over Lake Michigan will develop late tonight
through Friday, building waves on Lake Michigan and resulting in
dangerous swimming conditions for Illinois and Indiana beaches
into Friday night.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the east-southeast at 20 to 25 mph.
