Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm and Flooding risks, primarily southeast of
Interstate 55.
High Swim Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Showers and a few thunderstorms will continue moving east-
southeast this morning before re-intensifying this afternoon
along and southeast of Interstate 55. Thunderstorm this afternoon
may produce torrential downpours and gusty winds.

Winds and waves will increase this afternoon behind a cold front
leading to dangerous swimming conditions along Lake Michigan
beaches.
