Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.

DISCUSSION...
Periods of scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected early
this morning, and again this afternoon. A few of the storms may
be strong to severe this afternoon, especially across central
Illinois and northwest Indiana, with damaging winds the main
severe weather threat. Storms may also produce locally heavy
rainfall, which may lead to localized ponding and flooding of low
spots.
