DISCUSSION:

A slow-moving cold front will result in a couple of light
thunderstorm chances this weekend, the best of which occurring
Saturday afternoon when a few pop up thunderstorms are possible
across most of the area. Friday evening, rain chances should be
limited to areas along and north of I-88. Sunday could possibly
see a little rain and a thunderstorm or two south of the Kankakee
River valley and into parts of northwest Indiana.

Additionally, 3 to 5 foot waves will result in hazardous swimming
conditions at Illinois and Indiana beaches beginning Saturday
evening and lasting through much of Sunday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
