This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Heat indices this afternoon will top out in the upper 90s to a
little over 105 degrees, with highest values in north central
Illinois.

There is a chance of thunderstorms late this evening and
overnight, mainly north of I-88 and I-290. Severe weather is not
anticipated.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Sunday...
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Monday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Heat indices Sunday will top out around 100 degrees again,
mainly south of I-80.

Periodic bouts of thunderstorms are expected possibly as early as
Sunday, but more likely Sunday night into Monday. Some of
thunderstorms will likely produce torrential downpours with some
threat of localized flash flooding, mainly Sunday night and
Monday.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
