This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk north of I-88 this morning.
High Swim Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms will produce torrential downpours north of I-88
through mid-morning, which could result in flash flooding,
especially for those locations that saw heavy rainfall on Sunday.

Thunderstorms are likely this afternoon, mainly south of I-80.
These thunderstorms will be capable of producing very heavy
rainfall with a limited risk of localized flooding.

Dangerous swimming conditions will develop along the Lake Michigan
shore this afternoon and continue into Tuesday.
