Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Tornado risk.
Limited Damaging Wind risk...up to 60 mph.
Limited Flooding Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Thunderstorms are likely over parts of northern Illinois this
afternoon and evening. The strongest will be capable of producing
isolated instances of strong to damaging wind gusts. In addition,
there is a threat for a brief tornado or two, mainly for areas
north of a Dixon to DeKalb to Harvard line. Finally, heavy
rainfall is also like to accompany these thunderstorms, and this
could result in localized areas of minor flooding.

Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Hail risk...up to quarter size.
Limited Damaging Wind risk...up to 65 mph.
DISCUSSION:
Conditions may become favorable for thunderstorms with a cold
front Monday afternoon and evening. Strong damaging wind gusts and
very heavy rainfall may accompany these storms, especially in
areas along and south of Interstate 88. The strongest storms may
also produce damaging hail.
