1 PM and 8 PM CDT is expected to be damaging wind gusts capable
of downing tree limbs and fences. In addition, storms will produce
torrential rainfall which may cause flooding of low-lying areas.
Heat index values of 105 degrees or higher are expected from
central Illinois into northwest Indiana late Wednesday morning
into the afternoon ahead of the expected thunderstorms.
