...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM THIS MORNING TO
4 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Periodic freezing rain or freezing drizzle expected.
Total ice accumulations of a glaze up to one tenth of an inch.
* WHERE...Primarily the northern portions of Winnebago, Boone and
McHenry Counties, including Rockton, Capron, and Harvard.
* WHEN...From 8 AM this morning to 4 PM CST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Difficult travel conditions are possible due to icy
roads, including I-39 and I-90 north of Rockford. Bridges and
overpasses as well as untreated roads and sidewalks are most
vulnerable.
