DISCUSSION...

Scattered thunderstorms are expected late this evening and
overnight. Heavy rain and localized flooding will be possible
with the strongest storms. Small hail will also possible with
the strongest storms.

Areas of dense fog are possible tonight.

DISCUSSION:

Light icing due to freezing rain is possible across far
northern Illinois on Tuesday.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Tuesday morning. Some of
these storms may produce heavy rain and localized flooding.

Areas of dense fog will continue to be possible through early
Tuesday afternoon.

Accumulating light snow is expected Thursday afternoon into
Thursday night.
