Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Blowing Snow Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk for Porter County, IN tonight.

DISCUSSION...

Strong southwest winds develop this afternoon with gusts up to 35
to 45 mph, then turn northwest behind a cold front this evening.
These gusts over freshly fallen snow will likely lead to at least
patchy blowing and drifting snow in open areas. Snow showers or
squalls may accompany the cold front this evening with bursts of
heavy snow and sudden visibility reductions possible mainly north
of Interstate 88 and west of the Chicago metro.
