DISCUSSION...

Southwest winds gusting to 40 mph this afternoon will turn
northwest and gust to 45 mph behind a cold front this evening.
These gusts over freshly fallen snow will lead to blowing and
drifting snow in open areas. Snow showers or squalls may accompany
the cold front this evening with bursts of heavy snow and sudden
visibility reductions mainly north of Interstate 80.
