This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

No hazardous weather expected at this time.

DISCUSSION...

Light lake-effect snow showers are possible this evening and
overnight across portions of far northwest Indiana and
particularly northeast Illinois. A coating of snow is possible
which may lead to patchy slick spots overnight and into Thursday
morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Elevated Snow Risk.
Elevated Ice Accumulation Risk near and south of US-24.

DISCUSSION:

Widespread snowfall in expected to develop late tomorrow morning
into the afternoon with light snow showers expected over most of
the area through the afternoon and evening. There is the potential
for some sleet tomorrow afternoon across parts of Livingston,
Ford, and Iroquois Counties in Illinois and Benton County in
Indiana. For the same area, freezing drizzle is also possible
tomorrow evening and overnight. The Thursday afternoon commute
will be heavily impacted with increased travel times. Minor delays
are also possible during the Friday morning commute.
