DISCUSSION...
A strong arctic cold front will sweep across the area early
this evening. Northwest winds may gust as high as 35 mph. In the
wake of the front, snow showers may cause reduced visibility and
localized coatings of snow. Then in the late evening and into
early Saturday, lake effect snow showers may affect portions of
far northwest Indiana, especially Porter County, where an inch or
two of snow could cause travel impacts.

DISCUSSION:
Lake effect snow showers may continue Saturday morning across
Porter County in northwest Indiana with additional minor snow
accumulations possible.
A large weather system will likely affect the Midwest later
Wednesday and Thursday. Widespread rain and gusty winds Wednesday
night may change to accumulating snow and or wintry precipitation
for parts of the area on Thursday with continued gusty winds.
