CDT...
At 420 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Timberlane to near Kirkland to 7 miles
northwest of Malta. Movement was east at 65 mph.
Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include...
Elgin, Carpentersville, St. Charles, Algonquin, Belvidere, Woodstock,
Sycamore, Island Lake, Marengo, Genoa, Sleepy Hollow, East Dundee,
DeKalb, Lake In The Hills, Huntley, West Dundee, Gilberts, Hampshire,
Poplar Grove and Lakewood.
Including the following interstate...
I-90 between mile markers 19 and 56.
This includes... Boone County Fairgrounds, Elgin Community College,
and Mchenry County College.
