This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Non thunderstorm wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A fairly strong system will move through the Ohio Valley and into
the eastern Great Lakes late tonight. A few thunderstorms will be
possible ahead of an incoming cold front this evening. Strong
west to northwest winds and a rapid temperature drop will occur
overnight, just prior to daybreak. Gusts to around 45 mph are
expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Strong winds behind a cold front will likely gust to around 45 mph
in the morning. The strongest gusts will begin to ease late in
the afternoon.

The strong and gusty winds are expected to produce high wave
action which will result in a period of lakeshore flooding
primarily across the Porter County shoreline on Monday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the northeast at 45 mph.
