This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
Weather hazards expected...
Limited Snow Risk through mid morning.
DISCUSSION...
Snow will spread across the area through mid morning. 1 to 2
inches are possible along and south of Interstate 88. Most of the
snow will accumulate on grass and elevated surfaces, but locally
slick conditions are possible pavement as temperatures are in the
upper 20s to low 30s. Isolated to scattered snow showers this
afternoon will not accumulate.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Thursday night...
Elevated Snow Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Expect another round of accumulating snow on Thursday night into
early Friday. Several inches are possible along and south of
Interstate 80, with one half inch to 2 inches farther north. Stay
tuned to this system as storm track changes are possible.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
