This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Northwesterly wind gusts up to 30 to 35 mph or more could cause
some minor lakeshore flooding issues along the Porter County
Indiana shore. In addition, the strong northwest winds and sunny
and dry conditions could cause an increased risk for brush fire
spread.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Saturday and Sunday...
Limited Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Scattered thunderstorms are possible late Wednesday into Wednesday
evening, especially for locations near and north of I-80.

A strong storm system could affect the region Saturday into
Sunday with brisk northeast to northerly winds, which may cause
lakeshore flooding for the Illinois and Indiana shoreline.
