This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
DISCUSSION...
Breezy southwest winds will continue to gust to 30 to 40 mph
through the early evening. These gusty winds, combined with low
relative humidity have resulted in elevated fire weather
conditions.
An approaching cold front will bring a threat for gusty showers
and perhaps a thunderstorm or two this evening. While severe
weather is not expected, locally gustier winds to near 50 mph will
be possible under any stronger showers or storms.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Gusty northwest winds will continue on Tuesday. This combined with
low relative humidity will result in another day of elevated fire
conditions. The gusty winds could also result in a brief period
of higher wave action into the Porter County shoreline by Tuesday
morning resulting in a threat for minor lakeshore flooding and
beach erosion.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
