This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Flooding Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
Wednesday through Friday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Scattered thunderstorms are becoming more likely on Monday
afternoon, especially along and north of I-80. A couple of
these may contain wind gusts over 40 mph and small hail.

More thunderstorms with greater coverage are possible Monday
evening and night, especially after 10 PM. If storms do indeed
occur, then there would be a threat that some could become strong
to severe. In addition, heavy rainfall would be likely, especially
north of I-80.

Additional rounds of thunderstorms are then possible through
Friday. Any storms that do occur, could pose a threat for severe
weather as well as heavy rainfall.

Heat index readings on Tuesday may top 105 degrees away from Lake
Michigan.
