Scattered thunderstorms are possible after midnight across
northern Illinois. Severe weather is not anticipated.

DISCUSSION:

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday, especially during
the afternoon. The strongest storms may become severe with
damaging winds the main severe weather threat. Locally heavy
rain will also be possible, which may produce localized flooding.
