...FLOOD WATCH WILL EXPIRE AT NOON CDT TODAY...

The Flash Flood Watch will expire for portions of north central
Illinois and northeast Illinois, including the following areas, in
north central Illinois, Boone, De Kalb, La Salle, Lee, Ogle and
Winnebago. In northeast Illinois, Central Cook, DuPage, Eastern
Will, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake IL, McHenry, Northern Cook,
Northern Will, Southern Cook and Southern Will.

The threat for widespread flash flooding has eased, and as a result,
the Flash Flood Watch will expire at Noon CDT today. Additional
areas of mainly minor flooding will be possible through the rest of
the afternoon. Additional heavy rainfall which may lead to flash
flooding is possible this evening and overnight.
