...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of north central Illinois and northeast Illinois,
including the following areas, in north central Illinois, Boone.
In northeast Illinois, McHenry.
* WHEN...Until midnight CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 919 PM CDT, doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Between 1 and 4
inches of rain have fallen. Showers and thunderstorms
continue over the area.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible, which
may worsen flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, McHenry,
Belvidere, Woodstock, Huntley, Loves Park, Fox Lake, Harvard,
Island Lake, Marengo, Poplar Grove, Cary, Hampshire,
Johnsburg, Lakemoor, Spring Grove, Candlewick Lake and Fox
River Grove.

Expect flooding of creeks, ditches, farmland, roadways, and and
other low lying areas.
