MCHENRY COUNTY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Illinois and northeast Illinois,
including the following areas, in north central Illinois, Boone.
In northeast Illinois, McHenry.

* WHEN...Until midnight CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 706 PM CDT, doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Up to 3 inches of
rain have fallen, with additional slow-moving thunderstorms
moving into the area.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches may occur, with
highest additional rainfall totals likely southwest and south
of Woodstock.
- Some locations that will experience minor flooding include...
Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, McHenry,
Belvidere, Woodstock, Huntley, Loves Park, Fox Lake, Harvard,
Island Lake, Marengo, Poplar Grove, Cary, Hampshire,
Johnsburg, Lakemoor, Spring Grove, Candlewick Lake and Fox
River Grove.
