DISCUSSION:

An active weather pattern will set up across the region this
weekend, with periods of thunderstorms possible. Some of the
storms later Friday night into Saturday and Saturday night could
be strong to severe with damaging winds and hail the primary
threats. Locally heavy rainfall amounts will also be possible,
which could lead to a few instances of flash flooding, especially
Friday night and early Saturday morning, and again Saturday night
into Sunday.
