This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A narrow axis of showers along Interstate 88 could produce a
lightning strike or two early this afternoon. Additional showers
and some thunderstorms are expected later this afternoon and
evening, with the greatest thunderstorm chances generally along
and south of Interstate 80. A few storms could produce gusty winds
but the severe weather threat remains low today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Tuesday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

The combination of low afternoon relative humidity and northwest
winds gusting up to 30 mph will result in an elevated fire danger
Monday afternoon.
