This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk well south of I-80 overnight.
Limited Flooding Risk south of I-80 tonight.

DISCUSSION...

As periodic showers slowly increase in intensity later today into
tonight, spotty minor flooding cannot be ruled out.

Isolated non-severe thunderstorms are possible late tonight,
mainly south of the Kankakee River Valley.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Rainfall will increase in intensity Friday morning over the area,
mainly south of I-88, including the potential for some embedded,
non-severe thunderstorms. For parts of northern Illinois and
northwest Indiana, this rain will last much of the day and could
result in some flooding due to the recent wet pattern. This
presently does not look like flash flooding, but more so low-
lying, field, and poor drainage area flooding. In addition, rivers
will rise and multiple locations may reach minor flood stage.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
