This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph in the early evening.

DISCUSSION...

Thunderstorms will develop this afternoon near the Mississippi
River before spreading across northwest Illinois. Some of these
storms will pose a brief threat for damaging wind gusts west of a
Poplar Grove to La Salle line before weakening through the mid to
late evening. Additional non-severe showers and an isolated storm
will be possible through the evening and overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk south of Kankakee River in IN
Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday and Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

There is a chance of thunderstorms again late Saturday morning
and into the afternoon and evening. While organized severe
weather is unlikely, a storm or two may produce wind gusts strong
enough to down tree limbs south of the Kankakee River in Indiana.

Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
