Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
High Swim Risk at Lake County (IL) beaches.

DISCUSSION...

Southerly winds may gust as high as 40 mph through this evening.

The strong southerly winds will create dangerous swimming
conditions along the Lake County, IL Lake Michigan shore this
afternoon and evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Limited Non-Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Tuesday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk, mainly south of I-80.
Friday...
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION:

There is a chance for severe thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon
and Tuesday evening, mainly northwest of Interstate 55. The
primary severe weather threat will be damaging winds.
