Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk south of I-80 this afternoon

DISCUSSION...

Showers and some thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and
evening, with the greatest thunderstorm chances generally along
and south of Interstate 80. A few storms could produce gusty
winds south of US Route 24 but the severe weather threat is low
today.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Monday...
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.
Tuesday through Saturday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION...

The combination of low afternoon relative humidity and northwest
winds gusting up to 35 mph will result in an elevated fire danger
Monday afternoon.
