This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to 1 inch in diameter.
Limited Flooding Risk.
Elevated Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk primarily east of I-57 through
7 PM CDT.

DISCUSSION...

Southwest winds will gust up to 35 to 45 mph ahead of a cold
front this afternoon, with the strongest gusts expected near and
southeast of I-57 through 7 PM.

Thunderstorms will gradually develop behind a cold front after 6
or 7 PM tonight. Any thunderstorm may produce pea to nickel size
hail, though a few may also produce hail large enough to dent cars
and siding. In addition, soaking downpours in thunderstorms could
cause localized flooding.
