Limited Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited Tornado risk.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 60 mph.
High Swim Risk Illinois shore.
DISCUSSION...
Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon.
While widespread severe weather is not anticipated, a few brief
tornadoes will be possible mainly between 2 and 9 PM CDT.
Large waves and onshore winds will result in a threat for
dangerous rip currents at Illinois beaches today and into this
evening.
