This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Thursday Evening through Friday...
Limited Flooding Risk.
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
DISCUSSION:
Widespread rain is expected over much of the region later Thursday
through Friday, with embedded thunderstorms at times. This rain
may be heavy at times, though there is uncertainty on the northern
extent of the heavier rainfall totals. Given the recent wet pattern,
some flooding of low-lying and poor drainage areas may occur. In
addition, renewed river rises are expected, which could result in
flood stage being reached at multiple points in at least portions
of the area.
The thunderstorms on Thursday night and Friday are presently not
anticipated to be severe.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
