This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Non Thunderstorm Wind Risk.
Elevated Fire Weather Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Southerly winds will gust over 30 mph through this evening. These
gusty winds will combine with dry conditions to result in an
heightened fire danger.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Tuesday afternoon and evening...
Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated:
Limited hail risk...up to 2" in diameter.
Limited damaging wind risk...up to 70 mph.
Limited Tornado risk.
Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Thunderstorms are likely late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night
along and ahead of a cold front moving across the outlook area.
Some of the storms could become severe with damaging winds and
large hail, primarily north and west of I-55 in Illinois. The
greatest risk of severe weather will be between 2 pm and 9 pm
Tuesday.
