This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Excessive Heat Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Heat indices in the mid to upper 90s are expected across central
and interior northern Illinois the remainder of this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Friday and Saturday...
Limited Severe Thunderstorm Risk.
Sunday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Wednesday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon and night.
There is a small chance that a few thunderstorms could be strong
to severe mainly across northern Illinois during the late
afternoon and early evening hours. Damaging wind and large hail
would be the main severe weather threats, along with the potential
for locally heavy downpours. The severe weather threat will
diminish by late Friday evening.

There is a chance of thunderstorms again Saturday afternoon and
evening, while organized severe weather is unlikely, an isolated
strong to severe thunderstorm cannot be totally ruled out.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
