Chicago and Rockford...
At Chicago, the average high temperature was 37.3 degrees, which
is 2.0 degrees above normal. The average low temperature was 23.1
degrees, which is 3.0 degrees above normal. The average
temperature for the month was 30.2 degrees which is 2.5 degrees
above normal. During the month of February, 0.77 inches of
precipitation were recorded, which is 1.02 inches below normal.
8.8 inches of snow were recorded, which is 0.3 inches below
normal.
One record was set for Chicago for the month of February 2020:
* Record daily maximum temperature of 52 degrees on the 2nd.
At Rockford, the average high temperature was 34.9 degrees, which
is 0.7 degrees above normal. The average low temperature was 18.2
degrees, which is 0.5 degrees above normal. The average
temperature for the month was 26.5 degrees, which is 0.6 degrees
above normal. During the month of February, 0.54 inches of
precipitation were recorded, which is 0.87 inches below normal.
