This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Thunderstorm Risk in NE Illinois through 8-9 AM CDT.
Elevated Non thunderstorm wind Risk.

DISCUSSION...

A few thunderstorms across the I-39 corridor early this morning
should diminish in coverage by mid morning.

Southwest winds with gusts of 35 to 40 mph are expected today,
with gusts to 45 mph or so possible south and east of Interstate 55
and south of Interstate 80 late morning through mid afternoon.

A period of strong northwest winds to 30 mph may result in
elevated lakeshore flooding concerns Tuesday morning, most favored
across Porter County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk for northwest Indiana

DISCUSSION:
A period of strong and gusty
northwest winds may drive higher wave action into the Porter
County, Indiana shore resulting a period of elevated lakeshore
flooding concerns Tuesday morning.

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.

GENERAL STORM MOTION OF THE DAY:

Moving toward the northeast at 40 mph.
