This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated Fog Risk.

DISCUSSION...

Areas of fog, potentially with some drizzle, will be possible
overnight and could cause visibilities to fall under one mile at
times - favored near the lake and well south of I-80.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Thursday...
Elevated Severe Thunderstorm Risk in the late afternoon and evening.
Friday...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.

DISCUSSION:

Showers and thunderstorms are expected on Thursday, with the main
threat for thunder mainly during the late afternoon through
the evening hours. A few strong to severe storms are possible.
Strong and gusty winds and hail will be the main threats, though a
limited tornado threat exists, highest from I-39 westward in the
afternoon.

Gusty northerly winds are forecast to develop over Lake Michigan
on Friday and linger into Saturday morning. As a result, the
development of large waves on on Friday will likely bring another
period of lakeshore flooding for parts of the southern Lake
Michigan shores.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
