This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North Central
Illinois...Northeast Illinois and Northwest Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Tonight.
No hazardous weather is expected at this time.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.
Thursday...
Limited Thunderstorm Risk.
Friday...
Elevated Lakeshore Flood Risk.
DISCUSSION:
An active weather pattern is expected to set up across the region
during the mid to later half of this week. This active weather
pattern could support a couple of periods of moderate, to briefly
heavy, rainfall later in the week.
Strong northerly winds are possible over Lake Michigan Friday and
Friday night. As a result, the development of large waves on
Friday could increase the risk for another period of lakeshore
flooding for parts of the southern Lake Michigan shores.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be necessary through tonight.
